We invite you to be part of the 5th annual
PEI’s Largest Truck Convoy,
on Sunday, August 29, 2021
– see full details below
The PEI Truck Convoy started in 2016 and is part of an international awareness and fundraising event. The Truck Convoy is a unique partnership between law enforcement and truckers to raise funds for Special Olympics PEI so Island athletes can continue to train in year-round sport and leadership activities. Individuals involved in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics have made the Truck Convoy one of their annual signature events, held each year on the last Sunday in August.
This year more than ever, we encourage people to join us in thanking the trucking community, the first responders and law enforcement agencies for their continued efforts as essential workers. Signs and much enthusiasm is encouraged along the convoy route while keeping social distancing in mind.Thank you for your continued support of Special Olympics PEI
The Lead Truck will start the convoy at 10:00 AM from the Department of Fisheries & Oceans(DFO) parking lot on John Yeo Drive and head towards the PEI National Park in Brackley Beach and East towards Dalvay and complete the return loop through Tracadie, Dunstaffnage along Route 2 back into Charlottetown and finish at the DFO parking lot. *This year due to CPHO guidelines the the start and finish area will be restricted to registered participants only and waivers must be completed for contact tracing.
