Introducing PEI Law Enforcement Torch Run’s Athlete Ambassador Erin Pippy
Erin has been a Special Olympics PEI athlete for 15 years. She is a spirited and active participant in a variety of Special Olympics sports, including 5-Pin Bowling and Bocce. Erin has competed at a National level in both Thunder Bay (2020) and Calgary (2024) at the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games where sheand her team most recently brought home a silver medal in the sport of 5-Pin Bowling. This year she was the Top Female Bowler at our PEI Provincial Bowling Competition, and she was recently featured on Ocean 100’s “Interesting Islanders” spotlight. With the mentorship of Kristi MacKay, Erin has also completed a 2-year term in the Special Olympics PEI Athlete Leadership Academy. She is no stranger to our LETR community and has been a consistent presence at our events by raising funds and awareness for Special Olympics PEI. Her big smile and contagious energy is appreciated by all. Erin has already been contributing on our committee since April however, we are pleased to officially announce Erin as our Athlete Ambassador to the PEI LETR Committee.
